I rang back and it turned out to be some company about Medicaid and sorting out debts. When I picked up, they were asking for someone named Barbara. I asked who Barbara was, and they just said sorry. I told them to remove me from their call list, but I kept getting calls anyway.

I had the same experience with calls from strangers and random voicemails popping up. Out of nowhere, I started getting calls meant for someone else, from various places. Then, last week, totally unrelated, I decided to look into my credit and found out it had been compromised. They were using my phone number to cover their tracks or something. It's really worrying how these things can happen without you even realising.

Seems like someone’s using my number and messing with my credit too. I’d seriously recommend checking your credit report and double-check that your voicemail isn’t redirected somewhere else. Better safe than sorry!
