As soon as I pick up, they just cut the line. What on earth is wrong with people? Why can’t they go out and find a proper job instead of this mindless nonsense? When I tried ringing them back, all I got was a message telling me to press a number to unsubscribe. It really gets on my nerves dealing with such pathetic individuals!

I received a call from this number, but as I tend to avoid answering calls from unfamiliar digits, I allowed it to roll over to voicemail. Strangely enough, they didn’t bother leaving a message, which leads me to suspect it’s probably a scam. After a bit of digging, all that came up is that it's a landline based in Illinois. I've already been targeted twice by those fraudulent IRS callers, so I'm rather weary of these things.
