I received a phone call from someone claiming to be a recruitment consultant wanting to follow up on my job application and assess if I was a suitable match for the role. This individual also mentioned the possibility of exploring other job opportunities that might align with my qualifications. However, when I sought clarification about which specific application she was referring to, she assured me that we would get to that eventually. What struck me as rather odd was her request for me to “verify” my personal details. I pointed out that if she had my application in front of her, she would already possess that information and would be aware of the position I applied for. Instead of acknowledging this, she insisted that I “repeat all of that”, which I did without hesitation. To my surprise, she then abruptly ended the call. I should note that I've had several calls from this number in the past, but they’ve never bothered to leave a message. Quite peculiar, isn't it?

I've received two calls from this number-one in the afternoon and another late this evening. Surely they must be infringing on some kind of regulations, don't you think?
