I got a call from these people saying I owed money on a payday loan I cleared up years ago, like 7 years back. I’m sure they’re just trying to scam me - total con artists!

I've had a handful of calls from this same number where a woman called Tammy Chambers claims she's from Angelo, Cohen, Chambers and Associates law firm. She says there's some legal stuff pending against me linked to my name and social security number, and that state law requires them to inform me. She keeps quoting a file number and warns that if I don’t respond, they'll take it as me forfeiting my rights. Honestly, this feels like a total scam. Legit legal notices come in writing, not over the phone. Also, the calls show they’re coming from Stuart, Florida - but I’ve never even been there.
