Received yet another dodgy call purportedly from the IRS, claiming that legal action was imminent. It’s rather peculiar, as I've noted connections to two other numbers from entirely different area codes. Believe it or not, this was the fifth such call I've had today alone!

I received a call from someone purporting to be from the IRS, asserting that I’m facing a lawsuit due to some alleged unpaid taxes.

I received a call from this number at the crack of dawn, precisely at 7:00 am, and then they persisted with hourly interruptions for the next three hours. I managed to block them, but oddly enough, my phone still alerts me every hour. Thankfully, since it’s blocked now, I can avoid the annoyance of their messages.

I've recently received a couple of missed calls on my mobile from the number 772-212-8586. So, I decided to ring them back. The chap on the other end had a thick accent that I struggled to decipher - sounded like he might be from India. He greeted me and inquired how he could assist. I pointed out that he’d called me and disconnected not once, but twice. Wouldn’t you know it, he just cut the line on me.

Had a couple of calls on Saturday afternoon on our landline. We're certain it's a scam as the IRS doesn't go around threatening legal action over the phone. Plus, they don’t operate on weekends, do they? I'll be passing this on to the IRS and the Minnesota Attorney General's Office for their records.

This morning, on Saturday, May 6, 2017, I found a rather alarming voicemail from this number (772 212 8686). The message claimed that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me, which is simply absurd. Whoever is behind this must be a rather terrible scammer, as they clearly haven’t the foggiest idea of how the IRS functions. I mean, seriously, they don’t even operate on the weekends!

I’m joining in on the reports too. I've had a good few calls from this number over the past year, with quite a few more the year before that. Quite annoying, really!

I received a couple of calls from the same number, featuring a robotic voice of a woman declaring it was the last warning from the HMRC, threatening to initiate legal proceedings against us. Quite unsettling, really!
