Got a call from this number, saying it’s the IRS and threatening me with a lawsuit. I think it’s connected to a couple of other numbers I got calls from too, each from different area codes. This was actually the fifth time they rang me in just one day.

This number kept ringing me at 7 in the morning and then again every hour for like three hours. I’ve blocked it now, so while it still tries to call, I don’t have to actually hear any messages anymore. Quite annoying!

Got two missed calls on my mobile from 772-212-8586, both times they just hung up. I tried ringing them back and the bloke that answered had a bit of an Indian accent or something, could barely catch what he was saying. I told him, "You've rung me twice then just cut the call." He didn't say a word, just ended the call straight away.

On Saturday afternoon, our landline got a couple of calls that were clearly dodgy. We instantly knew it was a scam since the IRS would never call and threaten to sue over the phone, especially not on a weekend. Plus, the IRS offices are closed then anyway. I'm going to report these calls to the IRS and also inform the Minnesota Attorney General about it.

This morning (Saturday 6th May 2017), I got a call from the number 772 212 8686, but it was just a recorded message claiming that the IRS is taking me to court. Whoever made this call clearly doesn’t know how the IRS works, especially since they don’t do that kind of thing on weekends. Definitely a rubbish scammer!

Somebody rang me up saying they were from the IRS and insisted I was getting taken to court for not paying my taxes.

Got a call from some computer voice woman saying it was the last warning from the IRS and they’re gonna sue us. Same phone number rang me twice with that message.
