As soon as I picked up, there was this recorded voice of a woman saying something like "your number has been added successfully - " but it just stopped suddenly. Then there was a brief silence before a woman’s voice, which I doubt was real, said "hello, this is - " and then the call just dropped. I decided to block the number right away.

I kept getting calls over and over again. On the third one, I decided to ring back. It was some kind of senior service - a robotic guy named "Joe" was asking questions. Midway through, he sneaks in "press 1 to opt out". Then a lady comes on saying "you have successfully been..." but honestly, I don’t think that actually works.
