Received a voicemail today from someone claiming to be Bob with Publishers Clearing House, mentioning some sort of sweepstake and a prize worth as much as £1000. He left a code, #06011, and said to inquire for either him or Pearl. Not going to bother calling back, though-if it's genuinely PCH, they'll find a way to get in touch with me!

I got a voicemail notification, but oddly enough, my phone didn’t actually ring, and there's no record of the number in my call history. The message was from a bloke who claimed his name was Bob, calling from some publisher’s outfit. In the voicemail, he spoke about a whopping £10,000 and also brought up £1,000, leaving behind a contact number and a code - 0601 - to ring back and speak with either Bob or someone named Pearl. I’m so relieved I decided to give this site a look before acting on it. I’ll definitely label this number as a PCH scam.

I received a call from a bloke claiming to be from a publishing company, inquiring about which magazine I subscribed to and my age. When I replied that I didn’t have any subscription, he promptly ended the call. Seems like he was just trying to pry for my card details!
