Total scammer alert! Just had a run-in with an Indian chap calling himself Mark, claiming to be from Windows. I decided to have a bit of fun and strung him along for a few minutes before suggesting he should try finding an honest job instead.

I've been getting calls from this bloke several times a day, especially if I happen to miss their calls. It's always the same old spiel about Windows and claiming they need to sort out some errors on my computer. I made it clear ages ago that I wanted them to stop calling and to take my number off their list. Even though I've blocked the number, it doesn't seem to make a difference as they still ring me rather frequently. It's quite annoying, to say the least!

I received a rather dodgy call from someone who seemed to have a Pakistani or Indian accent, claiming to be representing Microsoft Windows. He mentioned that their servers were flagging numerous errors coming from my machine due to some malicious software lurking about. He then proceeded to request remote access to my computer. I informed him that I was privy to these types of scams and intended to report the incident to the Attorney General’s office. When he inquired whether I was using a personal or business line, I reiterated my intention to report the matter, at which point he abruptly ended the call.

I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft, alleging they had noticed issues with my computer and could offer assistance in resolving them. It was obvious from the start that it was a scam, so I ended the call without hesitation.

The caller ID displayed Sherman Smith. They claimed to be from the Windows support team, saying my computer was transmitting error messages and that they could assist with the issue. They even went as far as to offer my computer's serial number as proof of their authenticity. What a load of nonsense!
