I received a rather peculiar call from someone claiming to represent a client interested in acquiring a controlling stake of 51% in Aviva PLC, and they were apparently keen to purchase my shares. Feeling quite wary of such unsolicited communications, I expressed my doubts. Just as he was getting into the details, the line suddenly went silent. Quite the odd experience!

I received a call today at 5.45pm from this particular number. The person on the other end of the line stated that they were from Lloyds Bank and were interested in repurchasing shares. I found it peculiar because they knew my full name and phone number, and I do happen to own a few shares in Lloyds Bank. Is it merely a coincidence? Curious about their practices, I asked the caller if it is customary for Lloyds to contact customers at such a late hour. To my surprise, their response was unclear and difficult to understand.

Someone called asking for me, but I hung up on them. They had a Filipino accent. I tried calling back, but they didn't answer and didn't leave a message. It seems the number is also connected to the FSA.

I recently received a phone call from a person named Emma Miller, claiming to be from RM Consulting Group. Upon visiting their website, I confirmed that it is indeed a legitimate company based in central New York. Emma mentioned that their client intends to acquire BT and expressed interest in purchasing my shares. While she was cordial, she also seemed on the assertive side. After reading some reviews here, I have decided to block their number - 17702838084 - and refrain from responding to their emails.

I received a phone call presenting a tempting proposition for my National Grid shares, claiming they were on the verge of being acquired. When the caller inquired about speaking to my deceased wife, I informed them of her passing and promptly ended the call. Within moments, the caller dialed me again and almost got my name right by using my first name as my last name, stating, "Sorry, Mr. John...". Seeking to test their knowledge, I questioned them about the number of shares I owned. However, their answer was largely incorrect, so I decided to terminate the conversation and hung up.

I was approached by a gentleman with a foreign accent named Alan Sanders. He claimed to represent a multinational organization interested in purchasing shares to take control of British Telecom. He asked me about my ownership of "scraper" shares and even sent a confidentiality agreement to an outdated email address. He persistently called me to chase after the signed agreement, but I only provided him with limited information. Later on, he informed me that his manager would get in touch with me in a few days. That's when I decided to block his number.

On July 10th, 2023, I had a phone conversation with my 91-year-old mother discussing BT shares and dividends. I expressed frustration and anger at the actions of certain individuals who I believe should be eradicated from this world due to their malicious behavior. This distressing news has deeply unsettled and concerned my mother. It seems apparent that these individuals lack empathy for the well-being of elderly parents.

A caller was looking to talk to my son, who doesn't reside here anymore. She expressed displeasure when I refused to provide his current phone number. It seemed like she knew our address and insisted that it was crucial for her to discuss shares in BAA. I offered the suggestion that if it was truly so urgent, she should write a letter to him at the address she has, and I would ensure he receives it. She insisted that this would take too long and reiterated the urgency of her call. In response, I proposed that she could provide me with her number so my son could decide whether or not to get in touch with her. However, she claimed that wasn't possible, and as a result, I ended the call.

I received a phone call claiming that I have bonus shares from a company, and they offered to purchase them from me at a higher price. However, this is quite puzzling as I don't have any share holdings in the United States. It's quite evident that this is indeed a scam call originating from Atlanta. I am left wondering who I should report this fraudulent activity to.

I made twelve phone calls to my 90-year-old grandmother in one evening. I contacted her repeatedly because I was eager to buy her shares in BAE Systems for £12 per share. These shares are currently valued at over £800 per annum!

Additionally, I persistently sent her a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to sign, displaying quite a forceful approach.

I received a call from someone claiming to be James Olsen, an American representative allegedly from ITV/Granada, who seemed unfamiliar with the pronunciation. It was clear that he had no knowledge about these companies. This is definitely a scam without a doubt.
