When a young lad finally picked up, he immediately quizzed me about which credit card I wanted to reduce my interest on. Curious, I asked him which card he had on me, but he admitted he didn’t have a clue. I requested to speak to a manager, and that’s when things got ridiculous. He flatly said no. I insisted, and he repeatedly refused - ending our conversation by hanging up! I was utterly gobsmacked. I’ve never been treated like that before! So, I decided to reach out to the Federal Trade Commission and added my number to the do-not-call register.
