They said if I dont pay them 550 pounds, they gonna haul me to court. They claim I owe Texaco, but its not me at all. Somehow they got hold of my social security number and even my home address. Its all very dodgy.

Somebody rang me up claiming I had a debt from over two decades ago!

I've gotten numerous calls from them. Whenever I pick up and they ask for a complaint number I don't have, they just put me on hold and vanish. When I ring them back, they claim I have an outstanding credit card debt from over a decade ago. They say I can't contest it, that it's definitely mine, and threaten to take money from my salary! Their attitude is really aggressive and quite shocking!

I’ve gotten calls from this number about an account that's supposedly mine, but I’ve never had anything to do with it, and apparently, it’s like 15 years old. It’s really worrying, so I’m gonna report them for identity theft.
