Got a voicemail about needing to chat regarding my business’s latest credit update. They mentioned there’s been some recent adjustments that might involve quite a large sum. They want to speak when I have a moment to fill me in on the new maximum amount. Seems a bit vague, gonna have to call back and see what they’re on about.

This number messaged me pretending to be from Lahey hospital and medical centre, saying I could view my statement through a link. It seemed fishy to me, so I didn’t reply or click anything. I just ended up blocking them straight away.

Got a text saying I’d paid a bill and included a link. Didn’t dare click it though. Looked up the number and it’s from Lansing, Michigan. The medical place supposedly connected to it had no record of me, probably because I don’t live there. They claimed the number was linked to their billing department. I joked maybe someone hacked me or them but nothing came of it. Checked again with the hospital and they confirmed 734 506 6025 is indeed their billing line. Tried calling but the number seems disconnected now. Feels like some sort of scam attempt that didn’t go to plan?
