I've been getting calls from this so-called NetworkSecure78, sometimes it shows up as New Jersey. The bloke on the line has a strong Indian accent, and I can hear what sounds like people chatting in Hindi behind him. I kept telling him I wasn't interested and to quit ringing me, but they just keep coming, about 2-4 times daily for weeks now. The annoying part is he hangs up right after my voicemail picks up, so I end up with loads of missed calls but no messages. Proper frustrating!

I got three calls back to back from this guy, and when I told him no thanks, he just wouldn't take it. He spoke with a strong accent and was quite pushy. Honestly, he was pretty impolite too.

Some bloke with a heavy accent called me, spoke in really broken English. I said I don’t have a computer. He then asked if maybe someone in my family owned one. I said nope, no one does. After that, he just hung up, probably didn’t believe me or something.

I've had these pests ring me up twice already today, it’s driving me mad. They’re just trying to scam you by hacking into your computer to pinch your data. Really wish there was some way to make it stop or get them into trouble for it.

Around 3 in the afternoon on March 24, I got a call from someone who sounded like they might be from India, Pakistan, or Sri Lanka. Oddly, the caller said his name was Steve Smith. He claimed my computer was sending alert signals over this network. Then he asked me to download some software called Supremo so he could connect to my PC. I’m sure this was a trick to install malware and hijack my computer to grab sensitive stuff like passwords and bank details. I told him no way. After that, he kept ringing me repeatedly, but I just ignored it. Honestly, I think this guy should be reported to the authorities, maybe even the FBI.

I get these calls about once or twice a month too. Latest one claimed there was an issue with my Apple laptop, which is funny because I don’t own one. I just played along, acting like I was following his instructions. After a while he got annoyed and started shouting, calling me stupid and lying. Then he overheard me chuckling and noises in the background and slammed the phone down. Honestly, the best way to deal with these is to drag it out as long as possible, just to waste their time.

Despite repeatedly asking this number to stop contacting our business, the calls just keep coming nonstop. The person on the line has a thick foreign accent and comes across as quite rude and pushy. Been getting these annoying calls for months now, and I really don’t want them ringing again.

Got a call from someone called Andy John, said they were from Mac pro support at a company named networksecure47. They gave these toll free numbers: 1 800 609 7139 and 1 888 927 3299, said they work round the clock. The call came through on 15th March 2017 from 732-200-1448. They were pushing some tech help but no charges or payments were mentioned. They also used the email [email protected]. Sounded a bit dodgy to me.

I got a few calls one after the other from them, and the moment they mentioned something about a secure network I figured it was dodgy. So I just ended the call right there. When they rang again, I told them if they spoke proper English, maybe I'd get what they're on about, but then I cut off again. The last time they phoned, I just said I don't even have a computer and then ended it. Haven't heard from them since.

Got a call from someone with a thick foreign accent saying they were from a Security Centre. I kept replying with just “Hello?” a few times, just messing about. Then I asked where they were ringing from. They said “US,” so I pressed them for the state. They replied “Denmark.” I told them we don’t have a state called Denmark here. They quickly changed it to “Denver.” Then I asked what time it was in Denver... and then they abruptly ended the call. Classic!

He called with a thick foreign accent, saying he was from some sort of "Service Support". I told him my number’s on the "National do not Call list". Then he kept insisting there were problems with my computer. I said there’s no computer here and told him not to ring me again!

SCAM ALERT... They sometimes call themselves Networksecure78. They'll ask if you use a Microsoft PC and might even say they've fixed your machine before and you just forgot about it. Don’t ever switch your computer on for these folks.

How to deal with it: Just say you don’t have a Microsoft device, that you’re using Android, Mac, Linux, whatever, and then say "thanks anyway" before ending the call.
