I received a message claiming to be from VENMO, saying there was some activity on my account in California. It urged me to click a link for verification. Instead of falling for it, I chose to log into my VENMO account directly and changed my password right away. I also took the time to check my bank accounts for any unusual activity. Just a heads up - they certainly did a good job making it appear quite convincing!

I got a text from this number claiming there’s been an attempt to log into my Venmo account from Seattle, WA. It urged me to click a link if I wasn’t the one trying to sign in. Sounds suspicious, doesn’t it?
