Are they genuinely involved in debt collection, or could they merely be fraudsters?

I just got a missed call from this number roughly thirty minutes back. Did a quick search on the internet and, surprise surprise, it’s those pesky scammers from Florida again! They seem to pop up a couple of times each year, usually around this time, and they tend to ring me from various numbers. I’m based in New Zealand, so I usually steer clear of answering any international calls that aren’t on my contact list. Just the other day, they tried to get in touch from +3212893157 as well. Crazy how persistent they are!

Received a missed call earlier, and I’m rather pleased I didn’t pick up. Having perused the comments now, it seems I dodged a bullet!

Having perused some of the other remarks, I’m rather relieved I chose not to pick up just now. However, the next time I shall definitely engage - I’ll murmur something like, “It’s sorted... but, oh, the crimson tide!” before swiftly disconnecting!

I also received a call from these folks while I'm down under in New Zealand. It’s clearly a con job. I'd advise not to engage or simply tell them they've dialled the wrong number. My personal go-to response is to claim the person they're after has passed away. Cracks me up every time!

Beware! This looks very much like a scam. It’s best not to share your credit card information. Credit card companies have already raised concerns about it.

I got a call the other day from that number, and I’m over in New Zealand, by the way. The chap on the other end was blabbering on about me winning a holiday package. However, they wanted me to cough up a payment of about US $698 first. To top it all off, there was a mention of having to sit through a 90-minute presentation in Orlando, Florida. It all sounded rather suspect, so I decided to cut the chat short, particularly when he started going on about the presentation. It has all the hallmarks of a timeshare scam, if you ask me.

I recently got a call from this number while I was in Queensland, Australia. To be honest, I didn't pick up the phone. Out of curiosity, I did a search for the number and ended up here. Enough is enough, folks! These constant harassment calls need to stop. They didn't leave a voicemail, which just adds to the annoyance. Instead of their dodgy tactics, maybe they should try finding a proper job. I’ll definitely be alerting my family and friends about this, and I think it might be worthwhile to spread the word on Facebook too. Let’s turn this number into a known scammer identifier!

Absolutely had the same nonsense thrown at me! The bloke even had the cheek to introduce himself as Harold Shaw. Trust me, I'm not handing over my three-digit password, so don’t fall for it, folks! It's 11 PM over here in Melbourne, and I'm soaking up the sun at my villa in Florida. I've blocked the number from my phone - go ahead and try ringing me now! Hahaha!

Be wary, there's a lot of dodgy characters out there trying to con you out of your credit card information. They often spin a tale about winning a holiday or prize to lure you in.

Blimey! What on earth? Could you possibly try ringing at a more appropriate hour? Because honestly, 11 in the evening isn't what I would deem considerate, especially when I've got to be up for work the following morning. To top it all off, I end up with a voicemail featuring a woman practically yelling "hello" as if she’s broadcasting from some call centre! I'm not remotely interested in "contributing" my hard-earned cash - why don't you get off your behind and earn a living like the rest of us do!

I received a call from this number claiming to offer me a holiday. They had some personal details about me and an ancient card number, which I suspect they nicked from my Facebook profile way back in 2011. It's definitely a scam! Whatever you do, don’t divulge your card information to anyone or anything online-there's no guarantee that your info is ever fully secure. Stay vigilant!

I’ve been receiving calls from them too! The latest one came through just yesterday at 10:15 in the morning. I always ignore it, though. A while back, I got a similar call from a different number claiming I’d won a holiday to Florida. I just laughed and hung up!

Indeed, I’ve received calls from this number as well, and quite a few, mind you! They seem to be persistent without any success, haha. The most recent call came through at 10:15 in the evening on Friday, the 7th of June, 2014. I’m based in New South Wales, Australia, by the way.

I came across this firm claiming to offer a complimentary trip to the US, which initially seemed quite appealing. However, things took a turn when they requested my credit card details, asking for a sum of A$ 755. Honestly, I’m not comfortable sharing my card information with strangers. Just a word of caution to anyone else-stay vigilant!

I found it quite curious that I received a phone call right after I set up a Yahoo Mail account. Not long ago, I had a similar experience after adding my number to my Skype account. Odd, don't you think? So, I decided to create yet another Yahoo email, this time with a different phone number, and, lo and behold, another dodgy call from the same source! Coincidence? I beg to differ. It feels more like there’s a bunch of nosey individuals rummaging through our details, far beyond what we might suspect. I’m not being paranoid; I’m just alert, as we all ought to be.

I’m currently residing in New Zealand, and I just received a call from this number. I did a quick search and ended up here. Cheers! It was a deep, American male voice claiming to be calling from Florida. I pretended the connection was terrible, and he mentioned he’d ring back. Clearly, he sensed that something was off, much like I did! Haha, he hasn't tried to get in touch since then. It’s a shame that dodgy individuals can disrupt our lives or complicate communication with our loved ones. The best course of action? Just hang up! This one was likely from Nigeria, though it could be from the States as well.

I received a rather peculiar phone call the other day, claiming I had completed some survey and had won a delightful cruise to Florida and the Bahamas. However, I’m certain I haven’t filled out any such survey. As soon as I mentioned that I didn’t possess a credit card, they were swift to end the conversation. Quite suspicious, wouldn’t you say?

I recently received a rather intriguing phone call claiming that I had entered a survey and miraculously won a cruise to Florida and the Bahamas. However, right at the end of this jovial conversation, they asked me for my credit card information. Oddly enough, I distinctly recall receiving a similar call around three years prior, which makes me wonder just how long this scam has been circulating!

Rang me last night just before ten, but didn’t bother to leave a message. It's likely just some tomfoolery, as I’ve heard others mention similar calls. This definitely warrants a bit of digging into, if you ask me.
