In New York on 20th November 2015, my girlfriend had a similar experience with a phone call. She was frightened and bewildered by what this individual had said. After calming down, we unraveled that he was nothing more than a conniving fraudster. I must emphasize, that fortunate individual is lucky I wasn't also involved in the conversation. It would not have ended well for him.

I received a call from someone claiming to be "Officer Anderson" who threatened to send an officer to my house tomorrow morning to arrest me for supposedly filing a fraudulent tax return. They warned that if I don't pay immediately, I would face 2 years in jail, have all my assets frozen, and lose any current income. However, I quickly realized that it was a scam after looking up the phone number and finding similar reports online. It's quite amusing how they expected me to believe them and even ended the call by telling them to send the police to arrest me before hanging up.

I received a call from an unknown number, where the person claimed that I owed money to the IRS. However, they couldn't provide specific details about the year in question or my full name. To try and handle the situation, I got my friend involved, who has a different voice. I instructed her to mention my first name, but the caller insisted on speaking only to me, albeit using my middle name. I must say, it was quite frustrating given that the individual sounded foreign and exhibited rudeness during the conversation. Quite disappointed!

I received a letter stating that I owe money, without any additional information provided. However, when the IRS sends a letter, they include specific details about your tax related information as well as your social security number. It's not just a generic letter sent without any personalized content.

My son, who is currently studying at college, received a call from a person using this number. The caller claimed to be from the IRS and insisted that my son send them £2,000 immediately to prevent a felony charge. I reassured my son that the IRS always communicates with us through written correspondence-they would never make a telephone call like this. I am relieved that my son has the wisdom to inquire and ask questions.

They mentioned that there is a serious legal matter, referencing it as Ref 313666, and threatened to have the person they were inquiring about arrested. During our phone conversation, Peter Anderson informed me that in order to have the $7,000 penalty waived and avoid an arrest warrant from the IRS, I needed to immediately transfer the owed amount of $3,682.27 through MoneyGram. He emphasized that I should not hang up the phone and call back but instead complete the transaction promptly. After ending the call, Peter followed up by calling me back.
