I picked up the phone and greeted the caller with a 'hello.' A male voice on the other end was jabbering away in what sounded like an Indian dialect. I reiterated my greeting, hoping to encourage him to switch to English. However, he persisted in his foreign tongue. After I fell silent, anticipating a change in language, the chap just cut off the line.9 yearsI received a call from someone claiming to be from BT, with an Indian accent. He requested my card information even though I settle my bills via direct debit. He seemed to have quite an extensive knowledge of my personal information like my name and address.
