Got a call from someone claiming to be with Graham's Heating & Air, offering a half-price checkup for £39.99. I told them I’m registered on the Do Not Call List. They said they would remove me from their list. I mentioned that my details are already on the National Do Not Call Registry specifically to stop calls like this. The caller then explained their company buys the list from another provider and has no way of verifying it, before just hanging up on me. Honestly, the folks who gather and sell these lists should be penalised. I reported the whole thing to the FTC - took no time at all.
