A rather dubious call came through from 724-814-7837 the other day. It turned out to be one of those automated messages, purporting to be from Amazon, claiming that there were $700.00 worth of charges on my account. I found myself stuck on hold for a good five minutes, eagerly anticipating a chat with a customer service agent. But to my dismay, they simply hung up on me after a cursory “Goodbye.” Never got the chance to actually talk to anyone! Quite infuriating, really.
