Got a call similar to what others have said here. They claimed it was about "an enquiry you made on Facebook." The voice sounded totally robotic, like those pre-recorded messages trying to seem real, saying things like, "Your authorisation code is... hold on a second... 6579 11," then a bit later, they gave out a different code altogether. Couldn't have been more fake if they tried.

Just an update: The call actually came from 743-233-4019, even though the recorded message had a different number to ring back.

They mentioned a code for approval and promised a big sum of money, but said the okay would only last for a day. Sounds a bit dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call that rang just once and hung up. Half a minute later, another call showed up on my phone as 'private number.' When I picked it up, there was a recorded message about needing to re-approve some hardship aid, telling me to ring back on 720-796-7959 before 24 hours passed. The weird thing is, they never mentioned who they were or even my name on the voicemail. Seemed pretty dodgy to me.
