I got a call and they immediately asked for my date of birth and social security number. There’s no way I’m giving that out nowadays with all the fraud happening. I asked if they could just email me instead, but they said that wasn't possible.

This number called me at my job claiming to be from a debt collection agency, but I don't have any credit card debts. When I told them I wouldn't pay, they got really angry and even threatened me. Real debt collectors don’t lose their temper or start name-calling like that. I’ve reported it to the cops. If you get a call from this number, don’t give them any details and definitely report it to the police. Hopefully, the authorities will track these scammers down soon.
