I had a rather curious phone call from the number 7204643004 earlier, where the chap on the other end inquired about a £379 transaction on my Visa linked to Amazon, suggesting they needed to confirm its authenticity. Intrigued, I decided to ring back and, lo and behold, the gentleman who answered wasted no time in saying I was calling about an Amazon transaction. When I probed for details regarding the item in question, he abruptly cut the line. It certainly feels like a dodgy call, doesn’t it? Should I be concerned that there's more to this than meets the eye, given how abruptly the conversation ended?

I received a voicemail from a woman who started with the phrase 'cut off' and claimed to be from Amazon. She mentioned an issue concerning a transaction of £379 on my credit card. The message asked me to return the call to a specific number to discuss the matter with one of their agents. Quite suspect, if you ask me!
