As soon as I answered, I was greeted not by a person, but by a robotic voice instructing me to press a button if I wished to unsubscribe from their persistent calling list. And just like that, the line went dead! It’s incredibly inconsiderate. I truly believe that these automated systems ought to be prohibited from bothering anyone.
