I received a call from someone claiming to be with CenturyLink, insisting they could help me save some cash on my long-distance charges. They mentioned reducing the per-minute rate. Once they started asking about the number of lines my “business” had, I realised it was all dodgy. I promptly ended the call, fully aware it wasn’t CenturyLink at all. The truth is, I'm not running a business and have an unlimited plan, rather than being charged by the minute. They're nothing but con artists!

As soon as I picked up the phone, the caller disconnected without saying a word.

They’re purporting to be representatives of Wells Fargo, but it's nothing but a con. Definitely a scam.
