I got the same message and decided to call back. This bloke said his name was Craig or something like that, but couldn’t say his own name properly, which was a dead giveaway. When I told him I’d already done my taxes, he just hung up on me. Suspicious as heck!

I got a voicemail today saying that there's a federal lawsuit against me for tax fraud and evasion. They said it's urgent and that either I or my lawyer need to ring 719-417-8043 right away, or else they'll push the case to federal prosecution. Sounds a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from this number, 719-417-8043 (Ordway, CO), with a recorded message saying I’m involved in a federal lawsuit about tax evasion and fraud. They warned it’s urgent and said I or my lawyer need to ring them back soon or I’ll be heading for federal prison. I’m actually in the legal field and this felt really suspicious. Definitely think folks should report this to the police. Cheers!
