They claimed to be with TalkTalk but it didn’t really sound right to me. Definitely seemed a bit dodgy.

They said they were from TalkTalk, but something felt off. The bloke kept going on about the router being messed up, but what he said didn't really add up. After having a quick search here, I spotted some retired BT engineer mentioning it was an international call, which pretty much confirmed my doubts about it all.
