I received a rather alarming phone call from someone claiming to be a deputy sheriff from the county. He informed me that I had somehow missed a court appearance and insisted I meet him at a specific place to sort things out. He threatened that if I didn’t comply, two officers would be dispatched to arrest me. Naturally, I wasn’t keen on that and ended the call. Then, he rang again, this time leaving a message urging me to ring him back. However, I opted not to return his call.

That number, 713-714-6055, has buzzed my phone several times too. I picked up once, but there was nothing but silence on the other end before they just disconnected. I've since blocked them. Definitely sounds like a dodgy caller!

I've been bombarded by the number 713-714-6055, ringing me time and again throughout the day-it's relentless! They’ve even continued this nonsense over several days with no voicemails left, which is quite infuriating. I've made it perfectly clear that I won’t engage with unsolicited or fraudulent calls. In fact, I've gone ahead and blocked the number altogether. It’s glaringly obvious that this has the hallmarks of a scam. Honestly, if only these con artists would put their energy into an honest day’s work instead of trying to swindle innocent folks out of their hard-earned cash!
