I got a call from someone going by Lisa on Reverb. She sent me a cheque that never went through, so I didn’t send any money back. After that, I did a bit of digging and found out that they were definitely scammers.

Got a weird message through Reverb about buying something. They said they’d send a cheque with more money than needed so I could pay the removal guys when they came round. The name they gave was Lilah White from Crescent, IA or something like that. I just had this strong feeling it was dodgy, smelled like a scam straight away.

I got a call from someone called Dana at this number, looking to buy my guitar. The whole thing feels a bit dodgy though because they want to pay with a cashier's cheque and have a courier come and collect the guitar. Seems like a classic scam to me!
