I received a voicemail claiming to be from the IRS, so I returned the call. An Asian woman picked up and said, "IRS, how may I assist you?" That was enough for me to hang up immediately. If it were really the IRS, they’d have my address on file and would send a certified letter, wouldn't they? Honestly, these scammers seem to think it's still the 1980s, as if we're all too gullible to see through their tricks... shhhhhhh!
