They always ring up way too early in the morning. I just end up shouting "Bugger off" and hanging up straight away.

This number kept ringing at 6 in the morning but I missed the call, which annoyed me a lot. They call so frequently, sometimes two or even three times daily. It’s really irritating!

I called, then put the phone down, tried ringing again but it came up as a disconnected number.

Got a call this morning, asked if it was my mum. When she said yes, the person just said "**********" and then just ended the call!

This number called me a while ago but when I answered, nobody was there. I'm pretty sure it's that same Indian bloke called John. It's so annoying how the government just sits back and does nothing about these rude calls, especially when these scammers seem to be getting phone numbers from companies here in the UK. Really frustrating!

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent asking for the woman who lives here. I asked him what company he was with and what he was after. He said his name was John, but when he mentioned where he was from, I couldn’t catch it properly even after I asked him to say it again. Then he told me not to raise my voice and kept insisting he was speaking to the lady connected to this number. I told him I don’t do phone surveys and then just hung up on him.

Got a call today from an Indian guy who rings daily. I figured I’d play along and answer his survey stuff, but ended up feeding him a bunch of rubbish. He asked the typical questions about my TV, washing machine, whether I have a conservatory and how old everything is. Typical! Cheers, John

Got a call around 12:46 today. The guy asked for me by name, and I said yeah, that’s me. He told me his name, but I didn’t quite get it. Then he claimed he was from the ‘Windows Microsoft technical department,’ which felt totally dodgy, so I just ended the call. The caller was a man, spoke with an Asian accent.

A bloke phoned me a short while ago pretending to be from Microsoft, saying there was an issue with my PC. I told him straight away there was nothing wrong, but he started getting loud and insisted there was a problem. When I stood my ground again, he actually shouted at me, so I ended the call. He had an Indian accent and said his name was John. My partner reckons he’ll take the call if it happens again, but I’m well annoyed he had the nerve to shout at me. Microsoft really needs to look into this number properly - it’s making their name look bad.

This number rang me at about 1.05pm today. Some bloke with a foreign accent said he was from Windows support. I told him straight up he was a scammer. He kept going on, telling me to turn on my PC and wanted my email and all that. I just hung up on him. It’s so frustrating getting these calls all the time. Honestly, it’s awful and something needs to be done to stop them!

Some bloke rang me from abroad claiming to be with Microsoft Windows, saying my computer was at risk and harming their servers. He was really pushy, but I told him no way was he getting access to my PC. After I hung up, another call came through from someone saying they were Microsoft support. I got fed up and ended the call immediately. Honestly, these scammers are total lowlifes, just taking advantage of people’s fears.

Some bloke with an accent called up, saying he was from Microsoft and wanted to "fix" my computer. He kept pushing me to let him access it, but once I mentioned a warning on my screen about dodgy callers, he hung up straight away. He said he was calling from Liverpool, but I’m not convinced. Surely the police can track this number and do something about it?

Got a call from some guy claiming he was John from Microsoft, said there was an issue with my computer. Told him to quit the scam and find a real job instead. He hung up on me right after.

On the morning of 11th December 2015, I got a call at 8:23 am from someone who said his name was Alex and claimed to be calling from Microsoft. As soon as he introduced himself, I just ended the call straight away. He rang back again, but I didn't pick up the phone. They really need to stop targeting people like this, it's so wrong.

On the 10th December, they kept calling the person I look after at these times, which relates to the earlier report I made at 11:06 pm: 3:09 pm, 3:50 pm, 4:01 pm, 4:13 pm, 4:14 pm, 4:43 pm, 4:44 pm, 4:45 pm and finally at 5:54 pm, that’s when I answered the phone instead.

Back in December 2015, someone I look after got hit with about nine calls from this number. The caller kept saying they were with BT and even claimed to be from Microsoft, saying there was some issue with his BT internet and that his laptop had been hacked a few weeks before. They insisted he log into his online banking, Facebook, PayPal, and any places where he does online shopping. I ended up taking the call from a man who spoke with an Indian accent but said he was in Liverpool and also somewhere in the US. Then he asked for £400, supposedly to buy a password to unlock the laptop. When I explained that the person I care for is disabled, nearly 80, and has a heart condition, the stress was really affecting him badly. I got quite firm with the bloke and suddenly he started apologising and tried to get chatty, asking for my name, age, and what I do for a job. I told him bluntly that wasn’t any of his concern at all.

Today (10th Dec 2015), my mum got a call from this number pretending to be from Microsoft. They said her PC had some sort of issue and was at risk. Mum’s not very savvy with computers and nearly went ahead with downloading whatever they told her, but luckily something made her pause. She then told them she didn’t recognise the caller and it might be a scam, so she was going to hang up. The caller rang back, and again she said she didn't trust them and was ending the call, but he just laughed. Mum ended up calling the police who have recorded the incident.

Just got a call earlier today, 4th December 2015, some bloke claiming to be from Microsoft saying there was a problem with my computer. I told him to buzz off and hung up straight away. Honestly, these sorts of calls need to be cracked down on properly.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from BT, but right away I was suspicious. They said there was an issue with my BT service, but when I asked where they’d got my number from, they couldn’t give me a straight answer. I just ended the call and deleted the number straight away. Honestly, can we put a stop to these nuisance calls? With everything else happening in the world, we really don’t need this added hassle.
