She sounded like she was speaking Chinese, couldn't really get what she was saying. At the end, she just said something like "talk to you later" and then suddenly ended the call.

This number just rang me up and the person on the other end seemed to know loads about me. He kept saying my card was about to expire and asked for my card info. Was pretty cheeky about it too and threatened to take me off the BT call list if I didn’t hand over the details. Definitely sounded dodgy.

On a Saturday morning, I got a call from a bloke with a really English name but an accent that was clearly foreign. He said he was ringing from BT’s telephone preference service and tried to convince me he was setting me up with a new system to block annoying international calls. He somehow knew loads about me already. Then he started asking for my credit card info, which made me immediately end the call. It’s pretty annoying - can’t BT do anything to block these persistent calls from this number?
