I have a strong suspicion that this call was all about spruiking those Kirby Vacuum cleaners. They pretended to be newcomers in my neck of the woods, but considering I'm in Roseburg, Oregon, and the call was from Eureka, California, it seems rather dubious. They dangle the offer of a complimentary carpet clean, but I've danced this dance previously. They first bombard you with all the supposed benefits of their outrageously priced vacuum, only to rely on a subpar attachment that does a rather woeful job at shampooing. It's all a bit too familiar, to say the least!

I received a call from this number, but they hung up just as I was about to answer - it rang five times in total. When I attempted to return the call, an automated message informed me that the number isn't valid.
