A rather unsettling incident occurred when a man knocked on my door while my teenage daughter was home. He left behind a phone number and claimed to be bearing a court order from Hamilton County Courts. Naturally, I decided to verify this with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department, only to discover that there was no such court order linked to me, and he wasn’t affiliated with them at all. When I confronted him about this discrepancy, his narrative changed, and he mentioned some other agency instead. I firmly told him that he should never set foot on my property again, and thankfully, he took my warning seriously. It seems he may have been digging up old debts and trying to pose as a collector, but the truth is I haven’t owed anyone for the past seven years. It truly took some nerve to approach me like that, and it was quite frightening.
