I received a rather concerning voicemail claiming to be from the CRA, stating that they were preparing to issue a warrant for my arrest. The person on the other end identified themselves as Officer John White. He mentioned that they would be confiscating all my assets and raiding my bank account for any funds if I didn’t return their call promptly. The chap had quite a pronounced East Indian accent and his voice struck me as rather youthful.
