I received a rather alarming phone call claiming that my possessions were on the verge of being confiscated because of some overdue tax obligations with the CRA. It was actually the third time in one day that I was contacted about this; the first two calls came from a different number altogether. They were adamant that a "representative" would be reaching out within a day to discuss the matter further. Quite unsettling, to say the least!
