They seemed to know everything about me and threatened that I was facing imprisonment due to tax evasion and a multitude of other accusations. They went on to say that I owed a sum of £4000, and if I didn’t settle it by a certain deadline, I’d be in jail for five years. Allegedly, the sheriff’s office was searching for me and had already attempted to deliver official papers to my residence; they even recited an affidavit during the call. I was instructed to reach out to my solicitor without delay.
