It was early morning around 8:42am on Thursday 20 April 2017 when my wife, who has battled cancer, and I got woken up by a call. We’re quite elderly now, and honestly, I’m nearly at the point where I’m just going to switch my phone off after 10pm and only turn it back on around 10am next day. The problem is, this might mean missing important calls from doctors or hospitals, which would be awful. The number calling was from Virginia. I’ve blocked it now, and that’s actually the 24th one I’ve added to my block list. I keep a note of all these, and each month I switch the numbers I’ve blocked. DCB

Earlier today, at around 8:57am on Saturday, I got a call from this number. It rings a bell because I recall it used to call my place a few years back. It wasn't super often, but they kept calling and it was pretty annoying.

Someone rang, asked for me by my name, then just cut off. They called back like 15 mins later and when I picked up, they hung up straight away again. Strange behaviour.
