Just got a call from this number.

Hey, this USED to be my Google number. Seems like telemarketers have been spoofing it. I was told there's nothing I can do except wait for it to calm down, but it didn’t stop. I've been flooded with angry folks thinking I called them because my number popped up on their caller ID. One even threatened to call the police on me! After all that, I finally gave up and shut that number down. Hopefully, that’ll put an end to the calls for everyone - or at least for that number.

This number popped up on my phone claiming to be from Candlewood Suites Detroit Ann Arbor. When I rang it back, there was a recorded message saying hackers had taken control. I later got in touch with the hotel and they said they had no clue about it. Quite fishy if you ask me!
