Been getting calls on my home phone from this number saying there’s a problem with my iCloud and I shouldn’t use my Apple device until I ring 1-800-941-4389. Sounds like a total scam to me, so don’t bother calling back. Really weird that they’re using a landline to do this!

Watch out, this is definitely a scam! The calls come from India. If this number shows up, better not pick up. Funny thing is, my missus has an Apple iPhone, and when she had a problem, she just popped into an Apple shop and they sorted it out quickly, and for free! No need to trust these dodgy calls.

This number kept ringing me like mad, must've been about a dozen times straight. Got so fed up, I rang them back out of curiosity, and honestly, it was some creepy stuff - they threatened to come after me and my family. It's terrifying 'cos they’ve somehow got hold of my address and even my mum’s name. Please, don’t bother calling these people!

Today, December 18, 2016, I got four automated calls left on my voicemail from the number 703 574 7136. The message said something like: "Your Apple device has a detected issue. Please avoid using your Apple device and ring us at 800 941 4389 immediately. Again, call 800 941 4389. For help support press 1, to hang up press 2." The calls arrived at 9:58 in the morning, then again at 11:18, 12:01 in the afternoon, and lastly at 1:18 PM PST. I'm based in Albany, Oregon.

I received a call from this very number as well. Reading through everyone's replies really helped calm me down and realise it’s probably a fake. I wonder why Apple hasn’t said anything about these scams, since I’ve gotten the same kind of text but from other numbers too. They all mention Apple - maybe it’s just because a lot of people have iPhones these days.
