The recorded spiel comes from a so-called "Vicky," purporting to be with the "Vehicles Service Centre," claiming it's my final opportunity to renew my car warranty before my account gets shut down. Strangely enough, this "final chance" has been peddled to me for over a year now. The same pre-recorded message keeps popping up, but from different area codes and numbers each day. At times, I even get multiple calls in one day, all from various locations. They invariably direct me back to the toll-free number 833-304-1447.
