The message claimed that there was a legal filing against me concerning the tax office. Naturally, I called it back, and a chap with a strong foreign accent picked up, claiming to be an investigator from the tax agency. He insisted that I hadn’t filled out my tax returns correctly between 2009 and 2014 and that there was some sort of legal action looming over me. Despite the fact that he struggled to say my name and couldn’t quite get my address right either, I told him I was completely baffled by his claims.
