Got a call from some dodgy lot saying they needed my personal details to sort out a claim. Definitely a scam!

Someone rang up asking for a person by my wife’s maiden name, which is foreign and barely known here in the UK, plus it hasn’t been used for anything but old phone directories for yonks. Anyone who’s dialled our number asking for that name clearly hasn’t got a clue who they’ve reached. Honestly, if they don’t even know who they called, they can take a hike. If they’re debt collectors like some reviews say, they’re wasting their time with us: there’s no debt owed whatsoever. Plus, my wife’s been unable to read, write or speak properly for the last decade because of strokes, so there’s no chance she racked up any debts herself.
