Got a call from some Chloe Brown telling me my missus had some debt that supposedly went unpaid back in 2008. Claimed they sent us a letter but we never saw a thing. She wouldn’t say which company she was from either. Told her that the debt was way past the statute of limitations, if it even belonged to us. She then started threatening to take money from wages and taxes before just cutting me off. Total scam if you ask me!

I had a call that sounds just like the one here. Some woman named Chloe Brown said my partner supposedly owed an old debt from US Bank going back 14 years. She warned if we didn’t cough up £1900, legal steps would follow and our bank accounts would get locked. When we asked for proof or any official documents, she said they could send it over but by then it might be too late - apparently our house, cars, and even tax returns could be seized or frozen. Their tone was really pushy and full of scary words to pressure us into paying. Honestly, don’t fall for it. Total scam.
