11 yearsA bloke rang me up, and right off the bat, he didn’t bother to state his name. When I pressed for it, he flung out some daft one-John Thomas. Claimed he was affiliated with VIP services or some nonsense. I then requested his mobile number so I could ring him back, and he had the cheek to say that was out of line. I retorted that it was rather inappropriate for him to disturb me at half eight in the evening while I was attempting to enjoy family time. This seemed to set him off, leading to quite the torrent of abusive remarks directed at me. Naturally, I had to dish it right back to him, which felt rather liberating, to be honest. My children found the entire exchange rather amusing.
