I typically steer clear of answering calls, but since this one was from my home state of Nevada, curiosity got the better of me. The caller ID indicated it was from Jean, Nevada-where there's only a casino. The person on the line had a rather strong foreign accent and launched straight into questions about my car warranty. I mentioned that I drive a brand-new car, and just like that, she hung up on me. Decided to block that number without a second thought!

I've received a barrage of 10 calls this past week from this number, but no voicemails left behind. After some digging, it became clear that they're just another pesky telemarketing outfit. They're peddling vehicle warranties, apparently. How tiresome!

I haven't the foggiest notion who this might be, yet they've managed to ring me up four times already before midday on the 16th of August, 2017.
