On the 6th of March 2015, this number rang me, and when I tried to call back, it wouldn’t go through. Then, just today on the 10th, it rang again. I picked up and a guy asked if I was Mrs Wiggins, reading out her address. I told him I wasn’t. Oddly, just before this, I got a call from an 0843 number which was automated, claiming I’d been in an accident. People should be careful, as last week I noticed £10 added to my mobile bill from an 0843 number. The man from the 0170 number said he was from an estate agency, but I work in a call centre so I know estate agents don’t randomly call people nationwide. Plus, if it was legit, their number would show up in Google as a business, which it absolutely doesn’t. This is just a trick to scam you through phone charges.
