My daughter’s phone bill got a surprise £30 added coz this number 700046094 keeps calling her and when she tries to ring it back, it says the number’s invalid. She wanted to block it but can’t find a way to do so. She’s with EE on her own plan now and this first bill is shockingly high thanks to these calls. Can anyone help us figure out how to block this? No idea who called me or what it's about but they've charged me 4 times £4.50. How is it possible that with all the regulations this company still manages to take money off young people? I haven't contacted them yet but I definitely will and ask for a full refund, no messing about. If needed, I'll go see them in person. 700046094 is definitely a dodgy number.

7000460 plus numbers like 94, 78, 79 and so on -- all total scams. You’d think the fraud police could step in to stop these calls charged at over £3.75 each. It’s tricky because you only find out when the bill turns up. This definitely ought to be against the law!

Some company calling itself "Moonlightmobile" says you’ve won some fake contest (though you might have just visited their site). I managed to get EE to block the number and refund the fees. Took a bit of sticking at it, but it worked. If I hadn’t been careful and noticed the £3.75 charges for these unwanted texts, I’d have lost quite a bit. Who’s gonna do something about these scammers charging ridiculous amounts for texts you never asked for and can’t block easily? They all use 7000 numbers and often send two on Sundays. BE CAREFUL!

This number sent me two texts and each one cost me £4.50. Strangely, they didn’t show up in my message inbox, only on my bill. Bit odd, right? I rang T Mobile and they said the number is linked to IMI mobile. They told me to ring 03330030581 to get a refund, but I’m too scared to call incase it charges me even more. Luckily, T Mobile have now blocked all marketing calls on my phone, so fingers crossed this nonsense will end soon.

For the past 5 weeks, I've been getting texts from this number charging me £3.75 each time. EE told me to reply with STOP to 87006. I did that last week and got a message saying it was cancelled, but the texts kept coming this week. Just now, I sent STOP ALL to 87006 and got a reply saying the "service" will be stopped, along with a message from Quiz2Win (?) saying my "subscription" is cancelled. I’m not convinced this will actually turn off this scam though.
