This number kept ringing me up, claiming they were from Windows and that there was a problem with my PC. I kept telling them my computer was perfectly alright but they wouldn’t let it go, insisting I check it out. When I told them I had antivirus software, they said it wasn’t a virus issue. Got bored and decided to mess with the bloke a bit - I said I might just switch to a Mac. He argued it wasn’t the computer but the internet. So I said I’d just get a new provider. He got a bit annoyed and started claiming I knew nothing about tech. We went back and forth like that until he finally hung up. Haven’t heard from them since!

Got calls all day from some bloke with a thick accent, kept talking about winning some contest or rubbish, couldn’t really make out what he was saying. Told him to take me off their damn list already. Gonna block the number now, enough is enough.

Some bloke rang me claiming he's Allen Williams, a manager at Windows Corporation. After I grilled him for details, he eventually gave me an employee ID, something like #MS78692. He told me I could ring him back on a Microsoft Windows number, 1-646-233-2811, to check everything out. I didn’t bother calling though, 'cause as soon as he asked me to read out the IP address and the Microsoft number showing on my screen, and wanted me to have my computer right there during the call, I knew it was dodgy. Pretty sure it was just another scam.

I got calls from this number a few times today but they never left any message. Strange thing is, the number looks weird since it just ends with three digits!

They just keep calling nonstop and dodge every time I ask who they are or for their contact details so I can report them to the authorities. In the past week alone, they've rung me at least 5 times, insisting my computer is at serious risk. Funny thing is, they keep mentioning a Windows PC but I only use a Mac.
