What a total rip-off! Got a call from this number claiming it was Bell Mobility, saying I supposedly had an outstanding balance on an old account. When I asked for any details, the woman on the other end got really aggressive, shouting about what would happen if I didn’t confirm my birthdate, then just hung up. I checked with Bell Mobility and there’s no account like that linked to me. Definitely a scam trying to pull a fast one!

I've been getting calls from this number, with someone asking me to verify my birthdate because of some supposedly unpaid Virgin Mobile accounts. The thing is, I do have an active contract with Virgin Mobile, but I always settle my bills well before the due date. It’s been really frustrating since they started calling me right after I signed up, sometimes even urging me to pay before I’ve even gotten a bill through the post. I got in touch with Virgin Mobile’s customer service, and they told me these calls aren’t coming from them - it’s definitely a scam. Just be careful, they ask questions that are quite sneaky to try and trip you up.

I usually ignore calls from this number, but once I did pick up, they wanted my home address to confirm my identity. I told them to give me their address first, then I'd verify, but they wouldn’t budge, saying they need to be sure it’s really me on the phone. So we got stuck there. I asked them to send me a letter explaining what this is about, and they claimed they’ve already sent loads to my place but never got any reply. Thing is, I’ve never received a single letter from EOS Canada.
