A number I didn’t recognise rang me once but never left any voicemail. After checking out reviews, I’ve decided not to pick up calls from unknown numbers anymore. About a year and a half ago, someone claiming to be from the tax office called me, insisting I owed money and threatening arrest if I didn’t pay up. I asked if they even knew who they were speaking to because they’re supposed to verify your identity before discussing anything, I mean, it could’ve been the cleaner answering the phone! Honestly, these fraudsters are so daft!
